Benefiting The Caribbean Tourism Organization Foundation
FACE OF FASHION, is the producer of:
Caribbean Week New York 2013 "CARIBBEAN FASHION TOURISM 2013" (Venue: The New Yorker Hotel) a highly anticipated fashion event held on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 during Caribbean Week New York 2013. This electrifying event was created to promote diverse looks and sizes; and encourage the development of self image, confidence and character for young women/men; and support aspiring and established designers to make a significant difference to their economic well-being. We intend to achieve this by providing them with the access, resources and platform to showcase their creative fashion designs and talents onto New York’s International Fashion Stage to take their brand and business to the next level.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Caribbean Tourism Organization Foundation. The CTO Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides scholarships and financial assistance to Caribbean nationals desirous of pursuing studies in tourism and hospitality, and also supports tourism employees interested in improving their foreign language skills. Study grants are provided to persons pursuing training towards any level of certification. Scholarships are provided to individuals studying at a Master’s level, who have the desire but not the resources to make their dreams a reality. Individuals granted these awards and scholarships must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential.
Since 1998, the CTO Foundation has provided over 180 major scholarships and study grants to deserving Caribbean nationals, amounting to a financial outlay in excess of US $800,000.”
